You don’t upload your show to Apple. You give Apple your RSS feed address once, and Apple picks up every episode from then on.

Before you start

You’ll need:

  • An Apple Account to sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect.
  • At least one published episode. Apple won’t accept an empty feed.
  • Square cover art between 1400 × 1400 and 3000 × 3000 pixels.

Step 1: Copy your feed address

In TurboCast, click Channels in the left menu and open your public channel. Go to its Directories tab and click Submit next to Apple Podcasts.

On older shows without a Channels page, click Distribution in the left menu, then Apple Podcasts.

The page shows the exact feed you’re submitting. Click Copy feed URL.

The Submit to Apple Podcasts page in TurboCast showing the feed address and a Copy feed URL button
TurboCast shows the exact feed address Apple needs.

Step 2: Add the show in Apple Podcasts Connect

Click Open Apple Podcasts Connect and sign in with your Apple Account. Choose to add a new show from an RSS feed, paste your feed address, and click Add.

Step 3: Wait for Apple to check the feed

Apple reads your feed and checks your show details. This can take anywhere from an hour to a week. You don’t need to keep the page open.

Step 4: Review and publish

When Apple has finished, open your show in Apple Podcasts Connect. Check the details, choose where the show is available, confirm you have the rights to its content, and click Publish.

Once your show is live, copy its public link from Apple Podcasts. It looks like https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/…. Back on the TurboCast page from Step 1, paste it into Apple Podcasts URL and click Save Apple Podcasts URL. TurboCast then marks Apple Podcasts as done for your show.
