Private Podcasts

Add a private channel, invite listeners by email or CSV, and give each person a revocable feed for standard podcast apps.

Private Podcasts

Add a private channel to a show alongside its public feed. You can set it up yourself and invite listeners by email, import a CSV, or share an optional signup link for the channel.

Private channels are available on shows created or imported since channels launched. Shows set up before then use a single public feed and can’t add channels.

A feed for each listener

Each listener is emailed their own private feed URL, with one-tap buttons to add it to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, or Castro. It also works in any app that can subscribe by URL. You can resend invitations or revoke a listener at any time; a revoked feed stops working. Private feeds are kept out of search indexes.

Choose who gets each episode

Choose which channel receives an episode. You can release it only to the private channel, or release it there before the public feed for early access. Listeners receive an email when a new episode is released to them and can unsubscribe from those emails.

The private channel shows plays per listener. You might use a channel for internal team updates, training, course content, or early access for supporters. Private feeds are included on Hosting Pro.
